I call it 'Upper Spinal Snobosis'. It is the condition that started with the very wealthy, and has since spread to most rethugs (and a few Democrats as well, I a sorry to say).

The condition is that one tends to only look up towards that tiny percentage who has more than the person looking does. This causes the person to be unable to even notice the fact that the person is doing better than the vast majority of the population. They are incapable of noticing anything other than the fact that there is someone out there that has more than they do. This constant tilting upwards of the head makes them look as if they are looking down their noses at everyone else. Which is what they are doing anyway, it is just far more pronounced thanks to the condition.

One of the first symptoms of this is constant greed to the point of being unable to control it. Which means that most Americans are susceptible to it.

The biggest issue with it so far is that there is a cure, but it seems no one wants to implement it.
