Beardies and borders have very different styles of herding with beardies bounding and borders using what is referred to as a "strong eye" or a stare that tells the sheep to behave or get nipped. Here is another example of a border herding



If you get a chance, go watch a herding trial. It is fun to see how the different breeds herd
