The phrase was taken from the 1960s British sitcom Till Death Us Do Part, in which it was regularly used by the loud-mouthed main character Alf Garnett, played by Cockney actor Warren Mitchell, to insult his Liverpudlian ("Scouse&quot son-in-law, played by Tony Booth.

I was a Davy Jones fan and my cousin loved a Mickey Dolenz. Ironic he is the last one alive!

Happy 80th Mickey!

I told my older sister that the Monroe’s were better than the Beatles! I remember her laughing so loud she almost fell over. She used to tell her friends for awhile my comment and they laughed also! At the time I was insulted but as I got older I got it! but hey I was only about 9 years old!

One of the kids in the choir looked just like Mickey Dolenz. Amazing!

I watched The Monkees when I was a teen. My friends and I had an unofficial fan club. Always liked them

Happy birthday to one of my all time favorites!
