A bad take on K i s s i n g in a tree rhyme
Me and Cuddles, under a tree F I s h I n g,
First came nibbles and the a winner,
Two fish later and we've got dinner.
Sitting here at the pond for the first time this year, Cuddles right beside me.
Per the advice of CP and several others, I'm barefoot, in touch with mother earth.
The above poem is all true although I threw the second one back.
This is as peaceful a place as the cemetery,
Imagine a peninsula dividing a pond by 1/3-2/3.
I'm looking out on the 1/3 side and I see a long tree trunk giving a strip of dry area for a group of dinner plate size turtles to congregate and sun bathe.
I'm sitting at the waters edge, legs stretched out, my back killing me lol, Cuddles at my left thigh, using me for shade. He is purring up a storm and perfectly content just to pal around with me. No hunting required lol.
I feel the same serenity here that I do at the cemetery except that I'm usually busy casting and reeling.
It is very meditational here as well.
Ok, back to fishing.
A P.S. Walking on half dead grass is almost as bad as gravel when barefoot lol.
