Newfound treasures on youtube: All 10 episodes of "Agatha Christie Hour"

from Thames Productions (which apparently just went up last week). First episode ws "The Middle-Aged Wife", about a woman whose husband is involved with a young, scheming woman in his office. The wife sees an ad in the paper that simply reads "Are You Happy?", and goes on to quite an adventure. I have not, as yet, watched the others.

Also available, "In This House Of Brede" with Diana Rigg as a succssful businesswoman who gives it up to become a cloistered Benedictine nun.

The gigolo did have a change of heart. .you could tell he was really getting to like her. I wonder what one does for other employment after such a career?

I keep hearing a line from "Oklahoma" with Ado Annie singiing, "Stay out just as late as you want to. . ..no use waiting up for me".

I watched them a few years back. They are an interesting change from her usual work, if you're used to the Miss Marple and Poirot productions. A mixed bag, I thought, but worth watching.

Tuppence stories, so I was happy to find this collection as well. Just starting on "In A Glass Darkly"..and dark it certainly seems.
