(11,507 posts)The pup is beautiful. I'm always so glad when it turns out the rescuer becomes the adopter.

(42 posts)Thank you. My Tommy was my everything and always will be. I wish you guys could have known him. Everyone loved him.
I am still lurking mostly because I'm still in deep mourning but everyone has been so nice and welcoming. I wished I had joined years ago. Thank you, again, truly!

(26,546 posts)Do you know that there is a bereavement group here on DU? You can find it by clicking on the Support Forums folder on the far left of the page.
Maybe, some day, you would like to tell us about Tommy.
Wishing you strength and serenity.

(42 posts)Thank you, truly! I've always loved talking about My Tommy, maybe someday I will share more. For now, I will share this with you, on the night we met, 41 years ago, was magical, like something out of a movie. We've felt that way about each other our whole lives! How blessed we were!
Thank you, again!
