I'm so excited! My Kid will be here tonight!!! She's 23 and I haven't seen her since 2022!!

She moved at a bad time...My mom had passed and Dad was in bad shape, her roommate was a mental health nightmare, I was still drinking and the bad ex was living with me...

SO much growth from us on BOTH sides and I am so grateful I still have this relationship. She's my 'ride or die' kid... my mini me. I know you're not 'supposed' to have favorites, but I am just so excited to hang out with her!

She's flying home to Sac from NC...then going to court with me tomorrow while I testify at the ex's trial for felony DV/great bodily harm... 2 counts!
That bitch tried to keep me from seeng or even speaking to my kids. Now my son and gf are happily relocated to Reno. And my daughter and her bf are gonna move back too...CA is safer for trans folks than NC!

So I'm getting the house spruced up, so she doesn't think I live in squalor. LOL and I'm gonna get her bed all set up in the office... cuz by the tme we drive back to Tahoe from Sac we'll both be trashed tired!
At least court isn't till 1:00pm tomorrow...

She had to take over my car radio on the way home and show me a new band that she loves...lol just like old times when she was in high school 😂

We had to go to In n Out burgers on the way home... All the old haunts. 🥰 She even suggested breakfast at our local restaurant 🤗

She says the house feels truly mine now 🥰 that's the best compliment ever!

Ill let you know how court goes. Honestly, I am not even worried...I got my family by my side. ( And my parents are guardian angels 😇
