Yay, I won a small raffle!

My car's in the shop for a major repair and I just called to see when I could pick it up. The mechanic said soon but also that the shop is having its 20 year anniversary and had a raffle and my name was pulled out! They took 20% off of the bill. This really helps because I've had lots of household repairs lately. The cats will get extra Churus tonight.

8. Not long ago...

I had one of my cars in the shop and while I waited I wandered over to a casino half a block away. I spent $10 and came out with twice the cost of the bill at the shop! I didn't mind the wait at all.

I told him I’m not a lucky person. I gave him a tip and he said he’d play the lottery for me . Felt great.
