I'm looking for my next show to watch, preferably on Netflix because I'm already paying for it but I could always look up a show on Amazon too. I like shows that are smart and funny. Cheers, Fraiser, How I met Your Mother, The IT Crowd, Bojack Horseman, That 70s Show, to name a few. Unfortunately 80% of Netflix is crap and I've already exhausted their good shows.

(42,665 posts)Great chemistry and comedy with Raymond usually playing 2nd, 3rd and 4th fiddle losing laugh lines from Mom and Dad and Brother. Youll get a laugh.

(10,483 posts)Try Fisk. An Australian comedy with likable and quirky characters. Watch with subtitles. Makes it easier to pick up some of the dialogue and idioms.

Lawyer of reduced circumstances goes to work for a family law firm. Comedy gold, right?

(167 posts)This is a scfi program that's both comedy and drama. Jack Carter is a U.S. Marshall transporting his runaway daughter back to his ex-wife in LA. Their car gets into an accident and they walk into the town of Eureka where everyone there is a genius. While waiting for his car to be repaired he inserts himself into a case of a missing boy and after figuring out where the boy is he's offered a job as the town's sheriff. Although Jack is of average intelligence he's called upon to solve a number of incidents, many of them humorous, the town's geniuses can't solve.

(1,290 posts)I love it. But it's not for everyone. Gary Farmer is a main character and there are several native actors. Some were on Reservation Dogs that I absolutely loved!

Far too often, the same stale re-run "jokes," and same old, same old plotlines.

(25,639 posts)I'm a total cynic and I especially hate laugh tracks. But I've actually found some witty, funny shows over the last couple years. See my post above.

(13,355 posts)Kathy Bates stars as a liberal lawyer who runs a California pot dispensary employing a trippy bud tender, a security guard with PTSD, and a med school dropout. Frequent patrons are hilarious Youtube pot influencers Dank (Chris Redd) and Dabby (Betsy Sodaro). Produced by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory).

(63,797 posts)I found it on YouTube when I was looking for Christmas sitcoms.
Goodman plays a formerly married guy who decides he's gay and moves to LA from Normal Ohio.
The show starts when he returned to Normal.
Can't remember how many episodes there were. Maybe 10? Was was on the networks in early 2000s but was up against Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. It was freaking Hilarious.
Hope you can find it and enjoy
