My nephew just clued me in. Heavy Metal oldies is a thing.
Color me non-metallic beige, or maybe mauve, with clueless trim.

Some include bands like Def Leppard and AC DC. In that case, I consider this a heavy metal classic:

That claimed AC/DC Was heavy metal. Then again they are now admitting country artists into the Rock N Roll hall of fame, so I guess it can be what anyone wants it to, be regardless of accuracy.
