area, but the burbs. The do fly to perch up in the trees.I came home from school one day and saw them sitting on neighbor's shed. It seems as thought there is a leader and the others follow.One time I walked Dolly dog and they were all following the leader up the middle of the road.

37. Yes, and those bison are huge. At one time, they were native to the area. The last time I was there, I was standing at

the lower fence and came charging down. I froze. I didn't see how that fence held them. They were massive. Must have been the Bulls. At the time I live in South Park and it was within walking distance. Now I live in Jefferson Hills. I think all the animals coming here has alot to do with building the turnpike extension to WV. Animals have no where to go. You live near South Park?

two mated and the female laid the eggs. KDKA set up a web cam to watch the eagles. Now you can see them all over the Ohio River area in Pittsburgh. The area has become a tourist area for people to visit and watch them take flight.

46. Pumas or wild cats ... I had one literally jump totally over my car once, when I turned onto a steep road going

up the road towards my parent's place/my place. It happened so fast when it jumped right over my entire SUV, on a steep hillside. And it happened so fast, the only way I knew for sure what it was the long tail of the cat when it jumped over the car. Talk about being surprised! I know that area I was going through was a state park, had all kinds of critters, and near a fairly wild river, but never realized that these animals (the large cats) were in the area, until one jumped right over the entire car.

Talk about an experience! I'll never forget it. Now the area has other critters but I never, in my entire life living down there w/ the folks and visiting my grandparents that we had such animals. Wild!

74. At the time, I didn't really have any time to be scared. It all happened so fast, and in a way, I couldn't believe

what had just happened. It's one of those things that you never expect, and that was one of them. Especially where I was located at, I was going up a very steep hill, on a narrow two-lane state highway (the route I take to my folks/my place located immediately just behind the state park), and it happened as I was going up the steep hill out of the state park (Bennett Springs MO).

I never again ever saw such a thing since then, and since I was in the car, I was not scared, just shocked, absolutely shocked. Never expected in such a steep location a critter like that to pick the time to literally jump over the vehicle (a SUV, a fairly tall vehicle).

Never will forget it.

rooks, jays, ravens, magpies and jackdaws. They're said to be the most intelligent birds. Crows have been know to establish relationships with the people in the house whose yard their tree is in...leaving gifts for the people in exchange for food even.
