3. Love that movie

Jack Lemmon was great in it and Tony Curtis did a funny imitation of Cary Grant (Grant said it didn't sound like him). The hotel scenes were suppose to be of a hotel in Florida but actually it was the Hotel del Coronado in Coronado. Ca., where I live. I often walk past the hotel, which just completed a $400 million renovation, and the hotel looks mostly like it did when it was filmed. The dock where they take a motor boat to a yacht at sea is still there and the building is a restaurant on Glorietta Bay. During filming, Marylin Monroe stayed in one of several cabanas but those have since been torn down and replaced with beach front cottages.

Wow!! Just googled the hotel. That place is massive!!!
