An uber driver saved my life (for real)

Yesterday I was asleep after a long evening of terrible storms in texas and being without power for hours. As soon as power came on about 8 am I decided I would sleep in a little since it had been a rough night with close to 80ish mph winds. Within moments I had a man banging on my front door. I was a little scared to open door since I didn’t recognize him and I live alone since widowed. He said my barn was on fire. With high winds it could have spread to my house with me in bed. He said Im just an uber driver.

He very literally probably saved my life. My children already lost their dad very young. He kept them from being orphans.

It's nice to know that people still look out for others in this toxic climate.
