The BBB is going to impact maybe hundreds of retirement homes, etc. To believe or think that individuals of moderate means can by donations or 'GoFundMe' accounts make up for the government cuts - is crazy. Maybe the Oligarchs can be the different because they have all the money, but individually, I just don't see it happening. I feel sympathy for you and yours, but this is the wave of the future in Trump's America.

Really the only financially effective way for individuals to support funding for social safety net type needs, whether for an individual or society, is to vote for politicians who will make that funding happen.
