Good morning my DU family,

Sometimes, from personal experience, I'm reminded how important it is to say thank you for all the quiet contributions and support that people offer day in and day out that keep things going and running.
This is one of those thanks along with a wish that your days reward you as abundantly as a face to face recognition ceremony might.
Please have a day that gives to you all that you give it and more in return and know that you are seen and appreciated.
Love, John

You and many others are who I think of as examples. You are there for so many, so real, and so empathetic.

As a life-long word lover, I admire the brilliant way you think and express yourself — and pray that you and Cuddles and Petunia have had the calm and peaceful day you deserve.

Your loving words have made an inherently lousy day much better.
I've been waiting for my Dr to call me back since Tuesday, only to find out today that they are now on vacation until next Tuesday and that has me really upset as his wife/receptionist has told me since Tuesday that he would call me.
Further, he told me that my request for an MRI was denied until I've completed 6 weeks of PT, and same for increase in pain meds only to find out he never submitted a Prior Authorization request for either. That he assumed a rejection in the best case is bad enough, that he can't differentiate between a person with low back pain starting out the treatment process and a 4 time failed surgery patient whose back is going downhill fast makes me want the first available appointment so we can either end this Dr./Patient relationship or establish ground rules that respect me as a patient enough to communicate honestly with me.
I can't really begin to describe how despondent I've felt since finding all this out today.
I'm sorry for the buzzkill.
Please thank Apollo for his sweet message, and let all your babies know that I send them love from me and the kitties.
Thank you again for lifting my spirits this evening. I needed that!
love, John, Petunia and Cuddles
