**ADVICE needed* - from cosmopolitan/travel & family relation

So in my secluded old age and sort of happily isolated lifestyle, having done the geneologist "research" phase, am now tempted to go to the old country for a couple of weeks.

* Problems, will KRASNOV ignorant travel restrictions be a problem (to Europe)?

* Am a 78 year old child, naive, inexperienced whatever.

* Need a companion/no-nonsense/safe

* Candidate is a childhood cousin, twice married/divorced/ travel-exploratory

* Need advice/guidance from Lounge cognoscenti

**************** Here's the deal:

She and I have had zero interrelational contact all our scores of life, back from our childhood. Can we travel together?

What about KRASNOV's world order, will we be detained/whatever?

* We know each other from a long distance since childhood but not in any personal contact

no personal first hand experience with - for anything longer than a casual lunch date - and even there, I've got a 'cover story' and cab fare in a separate pocket.

Coming from the other side ... It (trip) could be an absolute blast, and one of the best things you've done in your life. But ... You are most certainly taking a real chance.

or agree to visit sites ahead of time if interests are different. it really can't be much worse than traveling with a tour group. there will be irritations just by virtue of being humans - just be aware and get over it. have a plan to decompress when tensions get raised. above all relax and have fun!

fuck donald trump. you are very unlikely to have any more trouble than stupid lines etc returning to the US, don't worry about it. remember, any trouble - with this or just travel in general - always makes the better stories than smooth going ever does.
