Horror movie tropes we've seen way too many times.

The group of teenagers decide to explore the old abandoned building they were warned not to enter.

There’s a thunderstorm in the background..

Someone escapes being chased, finds a car, jumps in, and the engine won’t start …..

We see their reflection in cabinet mirror over sink.

They open cabinet for pills.

They close mirror, and we see baddie in reflection behind them now.

Turns out male killer has mommy issues.

Killer explains motivation for killing in lengthy monologue to final victim, who ends up vanquishing killer, escaping and surviving.

Allowing the murderer to enter quietly. Once the character realizes the murderer is in the house, they head upstairs so that they have no escape route.

The lights go out. "Must be a fuse. I'll go down into the basement and check it out."

While running away, someone gets injured. The woman tears her skirt off up to upper-thigh level to wrap the injury, thereby exposing her tawny shapely legs.

The phone rings. Nothing but heavy breathing comes across the line.

Skeptical authorities refuse to believe it's really happening - until it's really happening to them!

The monster shuffles away carrying the fainted woman, her high heels visible as her legs dangle.
