Killer explains motivation for killing in lengthy monologue to final victim, who ends up vanquishing killer, escaping and surviving.

The phone rings.  Nothing but heavy breathing comes across the line.
Skeptical authorities refuse to believe it's really happening - until it's really happening to them!
The monster shuffles away carrying the fainted woman, her high heels visible as her legs dangle.
