If you need some happiness today...This is 2 hours of Billy Strings playing with his dad.

This is one of those things that if you have the time...it's worth a listen. By the time you're done, you'll be in a good mood.

Billy Strings' biological father died of a heroin overdose when Billy was 2 years old. Terry Barber raised Billy as his own, and taught him to play guitar. Terry Barber is a fantastic picker in his own right, and Billy's love for the man he calls "Dad" comes through in this.

I think this is heartwarming...If you need something like this today, give it a listen.

It didn't hurt that the other performers included Béla Fleck, Sam Bush, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Tony Triska and a LOT of others:

Ringo and Liberty Divitto on drums, Paul McCartney on bass, Clapton and Knopfler on guitar, Richie Cannata on tenor sax, and Billy Joel and Elton John on keyboards and vocals (or some such).

No weak links in that chain!
