I've spent a lot more time lurking lately, and what a joy it is to see so many people being "Friends" to one another day in and day out, recognizing themselves in stories and connecting on that.

People so willing to share what helps, what heals and what fails. People so willing to care enough to......

I once told a DU friend that every Rec or response shows that the person cares enough about what you wrote to share from themselves.

I believe that's the very essence of Community, a community of caring, helpful and generous people who own their part in it.

Please give us a day filled with community, filled with the blessings of togetherness, of family, of love.
