(1,235 posts)1. When we lived in Georgia
Our home was on a small lake. Every year the geese would come and make their nest. One family came back every year and would bring their young to our backyard.
We especially enjoyed watching the parents teaching their young how to fly using the lake as their take off and landing strip.

(1,235 posts)4. I loved that home
It was like being on vacation, when we went in our backyard. We had turtles, geese, ducks and fish.
Used to take our paddle boat out in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset.

I love the sounds of nature. The birds at dusk, water lapping the shoreline. An occasional slap of the water when a fish jumps or a turtle surfaces.
