The strange thing is that the first thing he always go to is a bottle of vitamins I place on the shutdown button of my laptop for the expressed purpose of the cat not being able to walk over the button and shut down my computer. The little imp has figured out exactly what will cause me the most reaction/anxiety. And zeros in on it.And they say cats are not as good at reading people as dogs.
