You’ve become a master of light! No matter how you approach it you do a great job of capturing how it works. From your morning view of the sunlight pouring in through the window to the suspended look of diffuse light over water it’s all about natural light and it’s millions of variation in nature. Your work just gets better and better! You capture the different effects of light on different material, like the soft sheen on leather camera cases and the brilliant reflection of colors on water really well and convincingly. I love looking at your paintings! They’re that good!

9. You live in the Detroit area?

I grew up there and am moving back to the Mitten sometime before years end. I liked 'em all, especially the boats.

11. I'm relocating in Essexville (Bay City)

not quite as crowded as the Detroit metro area. I grew up on the west side- we moved a few times ending up near Edgewater Park.
