(13,834 posts)Is this looking East? Missoula is on the West slope of the Rockies.
And is that Rattlesnake Creek? Or? Confluence of Clark Fork and Bitterroot?

LiberalLoner, do you sell your work in a gallery or online?
LiberalLoner
(11,331 posts)Oh I would give anything for more photos of Mount Sentinel, I would gladly make a painting for you if you could email me photos of the mountains in Missoula! ❤️❤️❤️

(53,410 posts)Your painting is perfectly displayed in the mat and frame you chose for it. You have a wonderful eye for colors and nature scenes. You capture the moments you choose to paint quite well, and your paintings always resonate with those of us who love looking at nature and landscapes and especially at water! It becomes a positive emotional experience for us viewers to just look at your depictions of the awesome (as in full of awe) beauty of pristine landscapes. There is an airy and atmospheric quality to your painting that makes one almost stop breathing so as not to disturb the beauty and the splendor. You also capture the peacefulness of nature on full display. I love your work! Its inspirational!

(61 posts)I love the contrast of warm light and cool shadows with the rich blue and purple hues. You have a nice way with pastels- Impressionistic. The gold mat and frame and maybe better lighting in the second photo really bring out the warm light and rich tones.
Thanks for sharing.
