3. Good Deal Orerex. I used to own a lower end pair of Sennheisers.

This pair of Sony's are doggone it nearly as good (as my 73 year old memory serves anyways) and far less expensive.

That's my main complaint about the headphones I have-- they're uncomfortable for any length of time.

4. They are mike_c. I once had a pair of low end Sennheisers. After a while they hurt

my ears. These Sony's don't. They are quite lightweight and nearly as good and far less expensive than the Sennheisers. Check out the amazon reviews.

This is my second pair of Sony's. It took around two + years for the ear fitting material to start wearing down. The speakers still worked well, but I treated myself to a new pair anyhow.
