4. I probably lean more to Rockford theme, but oh, did my Mom adore Mannix (crush territory, I thinK)

so hearing it is quite poignant for me even though she's been gone a long time. Still hearing it takes me back.

Both themes are so emblematic of the jazzy themes of the time...classics

6. Mannix heme is a great one

But i am goimg to have to say Rockford Files. I wasnt old enough to really follow the show, but I LOVED that theme song when I was a little one.

8. Rockford, baby ... Jimmy G is one o' my favorite dudes ...

I was named after the previous famous TV character he played (although with two T's instead of one) cause my late dad was such a fan of the character, which was on at the time.

James is the middle name of all the dudes in my family and my dad went by it instead of his born name ... he also actually looked fairly similar to James Garner as well.

I have a Raider game ticket stub from 1978 that Garner signed for me after the game ... my dad kinda knew him cause both were real tight with the Raiders org in the 1970's. Jimmy used to be on the sidelines at every home back then.
