The photos from MB's Farmer's Market that almost didn't happen! *

*I'd just bought a new tripod for my big lens. After putting it on and playing with the controls, I found that I could not remove it! It was too heavy to take to the market. But my husband rescued me; he fooled around with it and got the camera off!

Everything they make, that I've tasted, is amazing!

I'm glad you're enjoying the photos.

Everything looked more gorgeous than normal today. No idea why!

And you'd better believe about clever husbands! He only spent maybe 5 minutes exploring the connection between the tripod and my camera before he got them separated! Way less time with better results than I'd gotten!

I was thrilled!

I was busy thanking him, and he started singing a little tune that he made up:

Once in a while, I'm good for something, once in a while I'm good for something . . .

And then I chime in:

All of the time, you're good for something . . .

We have fun!

That might be the most tempting set of photos I've seen this year, and I can't have any.
Just not fair.

I can't have any of them either (except very rarely and in small amounts!). They produce these goodies every week!

And every week I look at them and sigh. We do eat their quiche and love it, so that helps.

Well, if you live anywhere near Southern CA, come on and visit!

These folks are at the market every week and there is nearly always a crowd in front of their booth.

And now you know why.

Thank you, CaliforniaPeggy for sharing them with us. I always look forward to seeing your photos. Are you a professional photographer or just a talented amateur? In my youth, I took some pretty good pictures with my point-and-shoot camera, but I seem to have lost that ability in my "golden years"! Not the only thing I've lost, trust me. LOL!

By no means am I a professional photographer. I had one college class in the field and that was it. I did have one very good friend here on DU who had a master's degree in photography; AndyS was his name and he taught me a lot of the technical stuff.

I have always had the photographer's eye.

I'll bet, if you picked up a basic camera, that you would find your ability returning. It might take some time, but I'm willing to bet that would happen.

Taking photos, or making photos can change your view of the world! That was something that Andy taught me.
