(6,029 posts)Pretty much the only things listed here that I've watched. Jean Smart is amazing on Hacks and I watched True Detective, not typically my sort of thing, in large part just to see what Jodie would do with that role.

(38,313 posts)Unfortunately it's on Hulu and not a lot of people will ever get to see it.
I'm told by my son and daughter-in-law that Shogun was outstanding, and I do plan to watch that mini-series when I get time.

(6,029 posts)but the only streaming services I have are included with my cable package, so I'm not going to spring for Hulu, too. Maybe one day it will show up somewhere I can see it.

(11,546 posts)Over and over he takes on tough subjects deeply researched. It's truly informative, often heartbreaking while softening the blow with a unique style of satire that somehow makes something we might otherwise turn away from bearable and memorable in a way I think inspires action.

(38,313 posts)I know he won last year and nobody was surprised when he won. He used to be in a different category - Talk Shows I guess it was. Then he changed his show to qualify for the "Variety Show" category, and now he always wins.
