Just watched Episode 3 of "The Last of Us".

The one with Nick Offerman. Wow! That might be one of the finest hours of tv I've ever seen!

FYI, it's streaming on HBO/Max

Then I saw episode three and that convinced me to keep going. I thought that a show capable of an episode that good was worth sticking with.

Edit to add: Mr. Offerman won a richly deserved Emmy award for that episode.

I kept hearing good things about the show. I watched the first 2 episodes and thought it was okay. Kind of "been there, done that" for me. Then I was totally knocked out by the 3rd episode. Wow! What a powerful performance by the two leads. I think I'll keep watching now.
