"This is Us." One of the best shows ever.

I finally got around to watching it. I'm in the middle of Season 3. What an amazing show.

She’s tolerated many of my shows over the years, and I like having “our” show. After six or so shows, I told her she was on her own with that one. What a emotionally weighty depressing show! While I know we all have our own issues in real life, every damn character on that show had heaps of them. I didnt find any of them in the last bit likeable. They all had some past trauma they couldnt get over, constant whiny conflict, alcoholism, obesity, ingratitude, etc. Oh, and the incessant tragic violin and solo guitar music.

I’m far from in shape, and all of Christy Metz’s issues invariably seemed to tie back to her being fat. I relly didnt like her. Or Randall…dont get me started! lol

Light fare, it was not!

But, it sure entertained my wife! Amd was well-acclaimed. And I’m probably in the minority.

Then switch to comedies to put me in a better mood. I can see your point, but I think it has great writing, stories, and acting. It is a bit emotionally draining. But so is life!
