Governor Newsom has been on Colbert's show for 15 minutes and Stephen has done all the talking!!!! Ugh

Just shut up Stephen AND LET YOUR GUESTS TALK!!!!!!! That is one huge reason Jimmy Kimmel is soooooooooo much better than Colbert at interviewing, he lets his guests talk!!!!

You nailed it! Stephen Colbert often lets his own humor and opinions dominate, which ends up overshadowing his guests. A real interview should be about giving the guest space to share their thoughts and stories, not just about the host’s jokes or monologues.

Jimmy Kimmel’s style is a perfect example of how letting guests talk freely makes for a more engaging and insightful conversation. Hopefully, Colbert takes note and lets Newsom—and future guests—have the spotlight they deserve.
