Santa Cruz County seeks community input on voting and election services

Santa Cruz County is inviting residents to attend a series of upcoming community meetings to share feedback on local voting preferences and help improve election services under the Voters Choice Act.

These meetings offer voters the chance to discuss how and when they prefer to cast their ballots, what acessibility services are the most important to them and how they would like to receive information about upcoming elections. The Voters Choice Act allows voters to choose how and where they want to cast their ballots.

The in-person meetings are being held:

- Monday, June 16, at the Aptos Public Library, 7695 Soquel Dr. in Aptos, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- Monday, June 23, at Simpkins Swim Center, 979 17th Ave. in Live Oak, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 1, at the Scotts Valley Library, 251 Kings Village Rd. in Scotts Valley, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
