I’d rather have a certainty of a Democratic winner…plus, eliminating the possibility that supporters of the “losing” Democrat in the primary might feel bitter enough to sit out November.

Remember (I didn't say recall) when Newsom was losing the recall vote.

That changed in a damn hurry.

There's enough agreement among Dems, I think, to GOTV in November, especially with HR seats to gain.

I was going to fire off a blast about "Trump FIxation", the latest being his fucking teeth.

I got two whole fucking rec's on an INDIVISIBLE post, with lots and lots of action links.

I'm not doing this for "fame and glory"

I WANT WINNERS.

People get hoodwinked by the hood.

and his Winker

A "play it safe" position doesn't work in my opinion.

Besides, we're all Bozos on this bus.

There would have been more discussion around single payer, which only Tom supports.
There would have been challenges around subsidizing fossil fuels and rising utility rates.
The discussion might have been around which candidate can be more progressive but now there's no need.

Becerra can just be the more sane one and remain a centrist.
