2. Witnessed it in real time.

The social pressure to join an evangelical church was strong in the ‘70’s and just kept ramping up. Fort Carson, Peterson Field AFB, NORAD, Ent AFB, the Air Force Academy, all in a town of only a couple hundred thousand meant that peace-loving hippies were NOT welcome there. Then Focus On The Family, led by the psychopath James Dobson set up shop and it was all she wrote. Shame, too, because the geography is stunningly beautiful.

widely here in Jesus Springs! I have had a front row seat over the years watching this happening to this beautiful city. It continues to be very depressing.
