Air Florida Flight 90

A small aircraft crashed near Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia, on Wednesday night.

In a post on X, D.C. Fire and EMS said a small aircraft in the vicinity of the airport had crashed into the Potomac River around 9 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the incident involved a helicopter.

Footage from an observation camera at the Kennedy Center captured the moment in which two sets of lights consistent with an aircraft appeared to explode.

I remember a man kept refusing the rescue line and kept passing it to others. I believe he perished.
