Metro service to run on Sunday schedule through Monday

Metro train and bus service on Christmas Day and the observed holiday on Monday, Dec. 26 will both follow a Sunday schedule, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority announced earlier this week.
WMATA said that MetroAccess customers will be able to travel on the holiday, but subscription trips will be canceled. They also note that on Monday, Yellow Line shuttle buses will not operate; instead, customers should use Blue Line and Blue Plus train service for travel between Virginia and D.C.
