Maloney Wins Park Ridge Mayoral Election; City Clerk, Council, Dist. 64, Dist. 207 ResultsFree Access

Marty Maloney won a third full term as mayor, with preliminary election results showing him leading City Clerk Sal Raspanti by a nearly 2-1 margin.

By the time about half of the precincts’ results came in Tuesday night (April 1), Maloney’s advantage was clear, but the incumbent mayor held off on declaring victory until all precincts reported their results.

The mayor held his election watch party at Triple Scoop’d ice cream shop on Devon Avenue. In a speech to his supporters, Maloney he was grateful to them, and credited his wife, Lauren, with everything that went right in his campaign.

“We have a great story to tell in Park Ridge,” he said. “There is so much going right. Park Ridge is a great place to live, to work, to play and raise my family, and I look forward to cementing it for the next four years.”
