Cambridge School Committee candidate calls for answers after election night error

A woman is calling for answers about an error that led her to believe she had won an election last week in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when she actually hadn't.

Eugenia Schraa Huh was running for one of six available seats on the Cambridge School Committee. Unofficial results showed she had beaten incumbent David Weinstein in her race, but an audit by the city showed Weinstein had been reelected.

"This is just a shock," she told NBC10 Boston Tuesday. "You get used to one set of facts, and then you have to go back to the other set of facts."

Cambridge officials said the issue stems from election vendor LHS Associates, which failed to clear test data before counting began.
