Ferrysburg voters will narrow mayoral field during Tuesday's election

The polls will open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, for the primary election.

Only a few Ottawa County municipalities will have items on the ballot, including Ferrysburg, where voters will be tasked with narrowing a field of three mayoral candidates down to two.

You can learn more about the candidates – incumbent Richard Carlson and challengers Jerry Sias and Tim O’Donnell – online at grandhaventribune.com/news/elections/.

In the city of Zeeland, voters will trim the field of candidates running for City Council – there are currently seven candidates running for three spots.
