Jackson County Executive Frank White says he does not plan to run for reelection
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jackson County Executive Frank White Jr. said he does not plan to run for reelection – but said he could change his mind.
White made the announcement in a letter that was sent to county associates.
“After much prayer, reflection, and discussion with my family, I have decided that I do not plan to seek reelection as Jackson County Executive when my term ends next year,” he wrote. “This was not an easy decision.”
This comes a month before an election that will determine whether White is recalled from office.
