NE-LD13: Legislative District 13 heats up ahead of election; 2 lifelong Nebraskans fight for empty seat
OMAHA, Neb. — One of Nebraska's most diverse districts is seeing a close battle at the ballot box this election cycle.
Legislative District 13 starts near the Missouri River and spans to the outskirts of Bennington.
Two lifelong Nebraskans going head-to-head to put their district in the spotlight.
Nick Batter said, "We're often overlooked by the city."
His opponent, Ashlei Spivey, said, "I really want to make sure that our voice is heard in Lincoln."
