Kintner reports his car being vandalized
Someone vandalized state Sen. Bill Kintner's car in a parking lot outside the Capitol early Friday.
"They just wrote on it," Kintner said. He described the message as "Just resigned X O BK," accompanied by obscene images. He believes the paint used is washable.
Kintner noticed the vandalism around noon and reported it to the Nebraska State Patrol, which provides Capitol security. The patrol is investigating.
Kintner said his vehicle has been scratched and vandalized before, usually about once a year.
