Over 734,000 votes already cast in N.J.

New Jerseyans have already cast 734,539 ballots for next week’s general election, about 11.2% of all registered voters in the state, according to an analysis by VoteHub.

That number increases to 12% when inactive voters are removed from the registration tally.

Of those who have already voted, either through mail-in ballots or by machine in person, the electorate is 55.7% Democratic, 21.1% Republican, and 17.2% unaffiliated or independent.

A total of 239,787 in-person ballots have been cast in New Jersey, with Democrats holding a slight lead —98,796 (41%) to 94,555 (39%) for Republicans — after the first three days of early voting, with 46,436 independents (19%).

I have sent them back with the outside envelope marked , return to sender, deceased.

this year I sent it back with a letter advising that she died and cannot vote. "If there are future changes in her condition of being deceased, I will contact you. In the meantime, you might consider not spending money on postage and remove her name and address from her voting list."

Let's see if I get anything next year.
