Tulsa County voters have until mid-January to register for February elections.

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — The deadline to apply for voter registration is Friday, Jan. 16, according to the Tulsa County Election Board.

The deadline applies to voters who want to participate in the Feb. 10 City of Collinsville Council Member Ward 4 election and a special bond proposition election for Jenks Public Schools (ISD-5).

Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman said people must be U.S. citizens, Oklahoma residents, and at least 17 1/2 years old to apply for voter registration.

However, voters must be 18 years old by Election Day to cast a ballot.
