Ammon Bundy attorney ordered to appear in court

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A federal violation notice was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court against the attorney representing Ammon Bundy who struggled with the U.S. Marshals Service after a not guilty verdict was announced in the courtroom.

Marcus Mumford is accused of impeding or disrupting the performance of official duties of government employees.

According to the probable cause statement filed by U.S. Department of Homeland Security Officer Colin Fawcett, Mumford “grew increasingly agitated after learning that his client would not be released due to a U.S. Marshal hold regarding pending out-of-state Federal charges.”

The incident happened Oct. 27, 2016 inside the courtroom of Judge Anna J. Brown.
