South Carolina
Related: About this forumAs a SC native, I'm trying to figure out what this plant is.
I have noticed this time of year, late summer and early fall, a plant that grows in the ditches and low areas in the South Carolina low country. It is some kind of a grass. It is probably about 4 feet high and it has a head like wheat only it is rust red.
Can anybody help me with this?
