EULESS, TEXAS SETS DATES FOR GENERAL CITY COUNCIL ELECTION, EARLY VOTING BEGINS APRIL 22

The city of Euless, Texas, has announced the schedule for its upcoming General City Council Election, which is set to fill the expiring terms for Place One and Place Three on the council. Early voting will kick off on April 22 and run through April 29, with various time slots available to accommodate voters, as detailed on the city’s official public notice. Prospective voters can mark their calendars for April 26th for extended hours, as polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 27. Sunday operations allow voting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The election is slated for May 3, when polls will be open to the public from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Euless Family Life Senior Center, located at 300 W. Midway Drive, is one of the designated voting locations. Residents anticipating casting their vote can also look up additional voting sites and gather further election information by visiting Tarrant County's Election Website.

Regarding eligibility, the City of Euless has specified that candidates vying for a council seat must have resided in Euless for at least one year before the election date. Along with meeting the residency requirement, they must be registered voters within the city as of the filing deadline, and those with final felony convictions are barred from running. The mayoral race and spots for Council Place 2 and Place 4 will heat up next year, with the candidate filing period opening on January 14, 2026.

For voters unable to make it to the polls in person, there are provisions to obtain a ballot by mail. Eligible Tarrant County residents caught by circumstances such as being out of the county during the voting period, disability, age, or non-final conviction-related jail confinement can apply for this service. The application process begins with filling out the ballot-by-mail application form, available for eligible voters on the county’s website.
