Early voting underway in Harris County for May 3 election

Early voting is underway for elections in Harris County on issues ranging from multi-million-dollar school district bonds to mayoral races.

From Tuesday through April 29, registered voters can cast early ballots for the May 3 election at any of the 22 early voting locations across the county from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on most days. The only day with alternative hours is Sunday, April 27, when polls will be open from noon-7 p.m.

On Election Day, there will be 187 polling locations open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to the Harris County Clerk's Office.

Tuesday is the last day voters can apply for a mail-in ballot.
