One-time San Antonio mayor hopeful Altamirano (D) snubs both mayoral runoff candidates in endorsements

Despite releasing endorsements of five other candidates in San Antonio's June 7 runoff election, tech entrepreneur-turned-mayoral hopeful Beto Altamirano declined to endorse either Gina Ortiz's Jones (D) or Rolando Pablos (R) for mayor.

On Wednesday, Altamirano – who finished third with 12% of the vote in May's citywide election – launched the Plan 210 PAC, a political action committee dedicated to supporting candidates aligned with his campaign's vision for San Antonio.

Plan 210 PAC released endorsements of progressive candidates in the runoff's council races, including incumbent Sukh Kaur (District 1), Ivalis Meza Gonzalez (District 8), Angi Taylor Aramburu (District 9) and both Ric Galvan and Kelly Anne Gonzalez, who are in the District 6 runoff.

Notably absent: any endorsement in the mayoral contest.
