Joe Self Wins San Angelo's District 2 Runoff Election
SAN ANGELO, TX — Joe Self has won the runoff election for San Angelo’s Single Member District 2 city council seat, defeating Dudra D. Butler with 60.53% of the vote, according to final unofficial results released Saturday night.
Self received 299 votes to Butler’s 195, out of a total of 494 ballots cast. The vote breakdown is as follows:
Early voting: Self 157, Butler 91
Election Day voting: Self 123, Butler 88
The final turnout in the race was 5.61%. No ballots were rejected, and no provisional ballots were pending.
