Evacuations issued near Cle Elum for Red Bridge Fire
Level 3 evacuations were issued for the Kittitas County unincorporated community of Teanaway as a wildfire grew, confirmed KIRO Newsradio.
The Red Bridge Fire, approximately 7 miles east of Cle Elum, was at 200 acres, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reported via X Monday.
Only 50 acres were reported at 4:45 p.m., but the fire grew to 200 acres by 5:05 p.m.
Multiple ground and air resources were responding to the fire, DNR stated.
